Education

Calvin Cheng was educated mostly in Singapore, first at The Chinese High School, and then as a Humanities Scholar at Hwa Chong Junior College. The two have in recent years merged to form Hwa Chong Institution​.

Calvin did his undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at Hertford College, University of Oxford. He then went on to do a Masters of Science in Management at Oxford’s Said Business School.

At Oxford, Calvin Cheng founded the Oxford University PPE Society and was the society’s Founding President.

In 2017, Calvin set up the Calvin Cheng PPE Prize for Hertford College, to award outstanding students in each of the three subjects in their second and third years of study.
